We continue with the Seven Principles of Acknowledgment
Today we are on Principle #4 - Acknowledgment Energizes People - Lack of Acknowledgment Diminishes Them
Here’s what Judy Umlas says about this principle in her book
Grateful Leadership -Using the Power of Acknowledgment to Engage All your People and Achieve Superior Results:
“Recognize and acknowledge good work wherever you find it. It’s not true that people only work hard if the worry whether you value them. Quite the opposite! As a Grateful Leader, your gratitude and appreciation motivate and inspire them to go beyond what they perceive as their limits. They will want to give you their best performance and will do whatever it takes.”
What do you think about this principle?
